My fondest Dead memories were the multiple
night shows. My first runs
were
in Hampton Va. in
84&85. There's something about 3 or 4 nights that
would
imprint your brain with memories of the scene much more clearly.
You got to hear so many of your favorite tunes!
Never the same one
twice.
Wondering and guessing what the next night will bring!
Hearing the music, guitar and drums in your head for weeks after.
Plus a 3 or 4 night run always gave you more time with family,
thoroughly enjoying the time and space with those you love.
Four huge, unforgettable nights with
